It’s Complicated was born out of a moment of frustration and a whole lot of love. Our journey began with my daughter, who has a complicated relationship with her father. She wanted to find a card that spoke to her reality – not too perfect or heartfelt, pretty distant, but real. When nothing on the shelf captured what she wanted to say, I realized there was a gap in the world of greeting cards. That’s when It’s Complicated was born.
